Before pursuing my MFA at CalArts, I worked as a designer at tech startups, specifically in UI-UX and marketing. I studied Communication at the University of Southern California for undergrad.
My personal design work, which features my own photography and writing, reflects on my family's collective past, my Iranian Jewish identity, and the environments I inhabit.
I have interned at Paramount Pictures, Deutsch, Los Angeles Magazine, and at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. I was also an assistant graphic designer at the USC School of Cinematic Arts. At Harvard-Westlake, I was Design Editor for the award-winning student newspaper The Chronicle.
I love art museums and galleries, taking photos, traveling, and eating delicious food. I also love collaborating on projects and talking to my friends and/or strangers.
