Hi, I'm Candice Navi!
I'm an artist and graphic designer pursuing my MFA in Graphic Design at California Institute of the Arts in Los Angeles. I integrate my interest in technology and my exploration of my Jewish Iranian identity into my design practice. My work features my own photography and writing; it reflects on my heritage and the physical environments I inhabit.
My design work has been exhibited at CalArts, and my writing has been featured on KQED, San Francisco’s NPR affiliate, and aired throughout California.
Before pursuing my MFA at CalArts, I studied Communication and Digital Studies at the University of Southern California and I worked as a designer at tech startups, specifically in UI-UX and marketing.
I love art museums and galleries, taking photos, traveling, and eating delicious food. I also love collaborating on projects and talking to my friends and/or strangers. I speak Farsi and Spanish.
